As members of Christ’s church, we are all to make disciples of those around us, bringing the good news of the Gospel to our neighbors, co-workers, friends, relatives, and whoever else God may bring into our lives. Not all of us will go to “the farthest parts of the earth”*, but we all have the opportunity to partner in this work that God has given His church. We learn from 3 John 16 that in supporting those that are missionaries, the church becomes fellow workers with them. We are looking for both churches and individuals to become our fellow workers in bringing the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the people of Japan. Below are ways that you can partner with us in the ministry God has called us to.
Prayer Partnership:
In Luke 10 Jesus said to his disciples “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Therefore ask the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into the harvest.”** With less than 1% of Japanese people claiming belief in Christ, Japan desperately needs more laborers. Please pray that God would provide for us and others to serve Him in Japan. We need financial provisions, but we also need wisdom, courage, boldness, trust, and faithfulness to step out. We’d love to have you join our prayer team so you can keep posted about ways that you can be specifically praying for us and the people of Japan.
Financial Partnership:
We are partnering with Fellowship International Mission (FIM), and being sent by Christ the King Church (Belfast, ME), in reaching Japan with the good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. If you’d like to partner with us financially, specific details of how you can give can be found on the FIM website at www.fim.org/get-involved/give. You have the choice to give either a one-time gift, or to partner with us on and ongoing basis (monthly, quarterly, annually).
If you’d like to know what our financial needs are for our ministry and how you can best partner with us, please visit our Contact Us page and send us a message so we can connect with you. We’d love to tell you more about the exciting things God is doing in Japan, and how you can be part of His work!
Encouragement:
The work of a missionary is both challenging and rewarding. Encouragement and communication from home can go a very long ways in reminding us of what is true, and that God’s people are partnering with us in this work. We’d love to hear from you with any questions, encouraging words, thoughts, etc. that you might have. Also, take the time to encourage others that you know on the mission field. We’re sure they could use it too!
